Don’t trust him, they say
It’s too dangerous, they say
It’s too good to be true, they say
What do they know, I say
A leaf breaks off at every slash
Twirl, tumble, swirl, stumble
A tornado sucks the leaf into his belly
It should be empty,
Should it not?
It should be a raucous,
Why is it not?
Tranquil forces keep the leaf
Floating, drifting
Gently streaming to the top again
The hard thump to the ground had been forfeited once again
You don’t understand, I say
There’s something intangibly delectable, I say
I love him, I say
Don’t trust him, they say

Anger
Greedy clouds vacuum
The sun
No radiance tickles the foam
Of the ocean
Angry winds chase each other
The waves reach out fingers
To catch the wind
Trying to intervene
A water-wall rises up above
The now rippling water
Rippling readily, rising along
The Babylonian wall – up, up, up
Smashes down
Splattering
Slowly, calmly
Sweeshing
Sand granules, once alone
Now are joined in wet matrimony
Fused
No longer alone.
